Dr. Sotiris Nikolopoulos
Dr. Nikolopoulos is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of mRNA Diagnostics. He is an Award-Winning Molecular and Cellular scientist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Nikolopoulos is responsible for innovation through a deep understanding of molecular and cellular development of novel technologies and diagnostics.
Prior to co-founding mRNA Diagnostics, Dr. Nikolopoulos was the founder and Scientific Director for the Center of Molecular Analysis and Research, which worked on epigenetic and transcriptomics. Previously he was with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as Research Fellow. Dr. Nikolopoulos was responsible for studying cancer angiogenesis and cell signaling.
Dr. Nikolopoulos is an accomplished publisher of over fifty medical papers.
Dr. Nikolopoulos has received his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Fordham University and his MS in Medical Biology, Immunology from Long Island University, and his BS in Biology from the University of Athens in Greece.
